Wale Lawal joined film industry in 1992, he obtained his diploma in cinematography/ film directing under big abass quality films in 1998 as a cinematographer. Right after he graduated, he was employed as the head of camera unit at Sinat Studio Film Production Limited.
Wale Lawal was also trained in all areas of Film and Television Content Production and he is the founder of ZOOMCAM MEDIA NIG. LIMITED.
In 2003, Wale Lawal started a freelance cinematography with different top film/Television producers and directors.
In 2004,Wale Lawal was employed as a contract staff for camera operator unit 2 at Wale Adenuga Productions Limited, the producer of SUPERSTORY, PAPA AJASCO & COMPANY, THIS LIFE, AKPAN AND ODUMA, NNENNA AND FRIENDS , THE BABINGTON FAMILY. In 2007, Wale Lawal was promoted as the Director of Photography (DOP) at Wale Adenuga Productions Limited and has shot Films and TV series both in and outside Nigeria.
