Biography
Television Host and Media Consultant, Agatha Amata is a TV and Movie Producer, Seasoned Speaker, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist well known for her talk show “Inside-Out with Agatha” and “Inside-out Extra”, which gained widespread popularity due to her unconventional style of topic delivery on the show; it remains the longest running independent talk show(s) on Nigerian television.
She is the Managing Director of Inside-Out Media Ltd, a media consultancy and production outfit based in Lagos, Nigeria that birthed RAVE TV (www.raveng.tv) – A youth oriented interactive television channel on DTT (transmitting on GOTV (CH113), Startimes (CH125), MYTV and Abuja DSO Free TV (CH 745) and Asaba’s 1st 24 hour running radio station in Delta state: TREND FM 100.9 offering a package of audience participatory and educative content that cuts across the African borders.
Her love and passion for the youths, women and humanity endeared the extension of the vision to founding the Non Governmental Organization called FESECA – Foundation For Effective Socio-Economic Change In Africa now called IOWA Foundation – an advocacy driven initiative, through which she hopes to employ the media as an effective tool for change.
Agatha has graced both International and Local platforms namely: MIT Africa Innovate Conference Boston Massachusetts, Women Economic Forum New Delhi–India, Women In Journalism Conference, Rotary Nigeria, Youth Empowerment Conference (Ambassadors Summit) at the University Of Lagos, Nigeria to mention a few.
She is an active member of the Electronic Media Content Owners Association Of Nigeria (EMCOAN), Women In Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), A certified member of Advertising Practitioners Council Of Nigeria (APCON) and an affiliate to several other bodies/non-governmental organizations: Rotary, Project Alert, Media Concern Initiative and Gold Crest Foundation for Women & Children.
