EMCOAN Membership is open in two categories

• Corporate Membership: This membership is open only to Chief Executive Officer’s and Managing Director’s of a duly registered company. A delegated designate can only attend meetings or activities of the Association on behalf of the CEO/MD after they have delivered a written letter addressed to the Association to inform attest to such an arrangement.
• Associate Membership: This membership is targeted towards young and upcoming Content Owner’s/Creators who are yet to own or register a company of their own, or who are currently in the process of doing so. They will have access to some of the Association’s benefits, and will be encouraged to scale up their membership status to the level of Corporate Membership after some time.

In addition, each prospective member/applicant shall satisfy the following conditions:

(1) It is required that the applicant to have their programs being aired on one of the platforms of Television, Radio, and Online.

(2) The applicant would fill out the EMCOAN Membership Registration Form with the necessary information.

(3) The applicant is required to submit a photocopy of their company’s CAC document, along with the most recent passport picture of themselves

(4) Proof of payment of Membership Registration Fee = N30,000

(5) Proof of payment of Membership Annual Dues:
(i) Corporate Membership = N50,000
(ii) Associate Membership = N25,000

(7) After registration is complete, it is required for the applicant to attend a minimum of Five(5) consecutive EMCOAN General Monthly Business Meetings which hold at the EMCOAN Secretariat on the first Thursday of every month.

(8) After meeting the required attendance of the EMCOAN General Monthly Business Meetings, new members will be confirmed by the Executives of EMCOAN and be ratified by the Congress.

(9) New members are expected to continue to participate actively in all activities of the Association physically, socially, and to remain financially up to date. Failure to adhere to these requirements will attract stiff penalties.
