The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN), in partnership with Broadcast Media Africa (BMA), will be hosting NEMCEA 2023 – the exhibition and marketplace for electronic media content and film sector in Nigeria, Africa and indeed the world. The show will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria, from Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th August, 2023.
As part of the event’s high-level awareness and stakeholders onboarding drive, the President of EMCOAN, Mrs. Jibe Ologeh, led a senior delegation of EMCOAN members to Abuja to brief stakeholders on the planned event. The delegation presented the NEMCEA 2023 event to Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who has agreed to fully support the “very important and highly needed industry marketplace.
The EMCOAN NEMCEA 2023 delegation met with the Director Generals (DGs) of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Alhaji Balarabe Shehu Ilelah and his counterpart at Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Alhaji Yakubu Mohammed, where partnership and collaborations for the event were agreed upon. The delegation was also at the office of the Deputy Senate President – Senator Ovie Omo – Agege, who is expected to give the keynote address at the NEMCEA 2023 event.
“NEMCEA2023, according to the conveners, is expected to have hundreds of delegates attending the market from Africa, Europe, the USA, Latin America, Asia and the 36 states of Nigeria who wish to buy content from Nigeria or distribute their content into Nigeria, Africa and globally”.
